         2008 Major Events for Singles Sponsored by the Assemblies of God Churches: The A/Gs offer both National Events and Regional conferences.  These events are designed
            to raise awareness of the need for Young Adult and Single Adult Ministries on a local, district, regional and national level.  Their purpose is to help single adults and young adults grow spiritually
         and relationally, and to train volunteer and paid leaders in single adult and young adult ministries.  Individuals and leaders will benefit  from these specialized training and spiritual

       Aug. 29-Sept. 1 - Single's Labor Day Event  • Sponsored by Lifewa, division of the Southern Baptist Convention. Location: Ridgecrest, NC. This weekend offers today's single adult
       an opportunity to experience God in the Mountains.  Keynote speaker: Harold Ivan Smith. Worship leader: Kyle Matthews. Outdoor  adventures are waiting for participants who choose

Aug. 29-Sept. 1- Glorieta Single's Labor Day Retreat • Spnsored by Glorieta Baptist Conference Center and ShineOut.org Ministries. Location: Glorieta , NM .  A great weekend with many
