Fri., Feb. 17 - 4 The Heart KC Singles: Indoor Water Park Event Open to everyone of all ages will be open from 10am to 9pm on President's Day 2/17/2012. Join us at the new Holiday Inn, 9103 E. 39th St. KC, MO 64133 in the Old Adam`s Mark Hotel caddy-corner from the Royals Stadium for a day of water fun! You can come and go for food, etc. All are invited to this indoor water park event to get out in the middle of Winter party! This is not a speed dating event, but a fun event for everyone. Bring the kids and/or grandkids, we get a special rate for the day. This the event is only available online through Holiday Inn. Sat. April 7 - Singles Extravaganza 6 This premier event event will again be held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Overland Park. The band will be the Platinum Express and the Full Steam Horns. This is an ever popular band that will be making their third appearance with the Extravaganza. In 2009 and 2010 they were voted #1 band in Kansas City by Kansas City Entertainment Weekly. Don't miss this 12-piece variety band play Motown, Soul, Funk, Classic Rock, Rhythm & Blues. Music Express will spin the tunes during the band breaks.

If you've attended this annual event before, you know that this event is a real extravaganza, unlike any other singles event in Kansas City. The evening starts with Mingle Time as you have a chance to see friends and meet some new ones. Next, you can enter the Grand Ballroom where there will be over 25 exhibitors representing various singles groups, dance organizations, entertainment venues, health products, travel information, etc that you'll want to know about. Then we will have some very special entertainment followed by the band and DJ playing your favorite dance tunes until midnight.

North of Fire Station just East of 291 Hwy. Must access from Colbern Rd. off 291S or Douglas on 291E go North to Colbern & over 291 to Rice Rd on left. Just West of Mid Continent Public Library on Colbern Rd. Come join us for a picnic with mixers, an open fire and a hayride - hamburgers, hotdogs, condiments, table service, water, lemonade & s`mores provided. BYOB, & side dish to share. We gather from 4:30pm to 8:30pm at the Roatary Park in Blue Springs, MO at the Railroad Lake. This is a Free concert sponsered by local businesses, and the singles sit together on South side of shelter by sidewalk Free concert in the Park - BYOB - Do not pay here! Bring snacks, drinks, lawn chairs, and even the pets ... and a pet pick-up bag!
